ONLINE COACHES CERTIFICATION
Southwest Louisiana USSSA REQUIRES all managers to be certified. Southwest Louisiana USSSA offers a Coaches Clinic to certify the managers. Managers now have the option of getting certified by going on-line. CLICK HERE TO GO TO THE CERTIFICATION PAGE.

AGE CUTOFF
Southwest Louisiana USSSA age cutoff is January 1. Go by the age of the player on December 31, 2010. (Except 4U - As long as they player turn 4 by December 31, 2011, they are eligible)

DIVISIONS - "More Kids Playing More Sports"
USSSA is always looking for new ways to get "more kids playing more sports". The Southwest Louisiana USSSA League will continue to offer the following programs:
1) BOYS BASEBALL - 4U-14U Divisions Offered

2) GIRLS SLOW PITCH SOFTBALL - 4U-19U Divisions Offered

3) GIRLS FAST PITCH SOFTBALL - 4U-19U Divisions Offered

BRING YOUR OWN TEAM INTO THE 4U, 5U, 6U, 7U and 8U DIVISION
Southwest Louisiana USSSA allows teams to form themselves in the 4U, 5U, 6U, 7U and 8U Divisions. You can either bring a whole team or a partial team and we will give you enough players to make the remainder of your team. This will encourage teams to form with neighborhood kids or classrooms. Kids must register individually. Just fax or email a list of kids you want on the same team. AS LONG AS A PLAYER TURNS 4 YEARS OLD DURING THE CURRENT CALENDAR YEAR, THEY ARE ELIGIBLE.

Post Season Championships
Anyone wanting to Manage an All-Star team needs to contact your league director. Southwest Louisiana USSSA will compete in the Post Season State and World Series Championships in 2011. In keeping with our commitment of "more kids playing more sports", Southwest Louisiana USSSA will organize teams from kids in the Southwest Louisiana USSSA. These teams will be formed from players that want to play in the Championships. Any player wanting to participate will be placed on a team. We may form more than one team if we get enough kids wanting to play. We will have teams in all Divisions. Depending on Manager availability and commitment.
